We're Back!!

Well, I am playing around on the computer even though it is not fully fixed yet...but Hooray, I can blog again!! I've yet to download some new pics, but here are some from before the big computer crash. This is a sweet one of Jacob helping Mimi feed Haven Rose.

Jacob practices his soccer skills with Daddy

The Townsends have added a patio cover! And what a treat it has been with all this Arkansas summer heat!
First Jacob is a duckmaster, then he becomes the bunny hunter...now it looks like he wants to be a sheep-herder! Make up your mind, Jacob!
We had a great visit with Mimi and Papi! They even watched Jacob and Haven Rose so Joshua and I could go on a date :)
More pics to come...Haven Rose is almost 7wks now!

On Hold

Sadly, our computer crashed this week during a bad hail thunderstorm that came rip roarin' through Little Rock the other day. I was so afraid we lost all of our pictures...but it looks like most of them, if not all, will be retrievable. Until we get this computer straightened out, no blogging for me :(
until next time...

5 weeks with Haven Rose!

It started pouring rain the moment we got home from the grocery store yesterday...do you think we could coax Jacob to come inside??...
NO.
Lazy summer days
(okay, so this picture is misleading...summer has been anything BUT lazy these days!)
...and usually our day ends with Jacob somehow getting wet, and always fully clothed.
It's a hard knock life for Jacob!

Precious daddy/daughter time

Hey there Sweet Baby! We can't believe you are 1 month old!

Holding Hands

Haven Rose's "blue steel" pose...or is that "magnum"?

Big boy Jacob can now drink from his big boy cup!

Daddy has a few more days left of his paternity leave! It's been great having him home for 2wks and we will miss him when he goes back to work next week:(
Haven's first bottle feeding. Daddy did a great job...but I think she prefers the real deal!

Haven's first tummy time (her umbilical cord just fell off today)! Here she is trying to suck on her wrists. Haven Rose was born with huge blisters on both wrists from sucking them in the womb! silly girl :)

Happy Daddy Day and 4wks with Haven Rose!

Jacob!..stop catching flies and give Katie Jo a hug!

Jacob and Daddy hit the pool!
Happy Father's Day to you, Daddy! We LOVE You, you're the BEST! -Jacob & Haven Rose

Hmmm...something tells me Jacob has been in this room

Must be a business call.

Pooltime, every day at the Townsends...come one, come all! Otterpops for everyone!
Within seconds of receiving his new wagon from Grammie and Poppy, Jacob checks out the weight capacity.

Read me a story, Auntie!

Two's a crowd, Jacob!

Sleeping Cowgirl

Sleeping Beauty

It's been 100degrees outside the past few days...and Jacob insists on wearing his cowboy boots! Nothing like an otterpop on a hot summer day...while wearing your favorite boots!
Jacob earning his keep around here...with his boots on.

Storytime! (please pay no attention to my tacky abdominal binder!)

Goodnight sweet Jacob! Looks like Tigger makes a good pillow :)

Goodnight Sugars are always a part of our bedtime routine. Jacob refuses to go to bed without giving Haven Rose her sugars

Thanks for coming over to play, Wendy!

Goodbye Grammie and Adios Arbol

Boo hoo...Grammie How had to go back to California :(
Thank you for all of your love and help, Mom How!...We love and appreciate you! This pic was her giving JACOB his very first bath!
...and 16mos later, giving our stinky boy another bath!

Sweet Siblings
Jacob flirts with Taylor again...this time I think he told her she was pretty :)

Jacob likes to pull off Haven's mittens

A lot is happening in the Townsend backyard...this picture was taken the day before I had Haven Rose. Joshua, his dad, and my dad put up a back fence. Now Jacob and Haven can run free in the yard without the temptation of diving into the lake!
HaHa Beaver...no more willows for you!

Grammie and her grandboys

"Thank you for playing with me 12hours a day, nonstop, for 3weeks in the scorching heat, Grammie!"

Haven gets some pretty visitors. Baby Blakely (who Haven is sitting on) should be joining us very soon!

My beloved arbol (tree) is...

GONE!!!
We found out that our tree was dying and had to get it removed before it fell on our house! I loved my tree :(

Daddy and Jacob watch all the tree cutting action from inside

Joshua pays tribute to our tree a few days before its final breath

Big Brother Jacob...and 3wks with Haven Rose!

Jacob had a great weekend away with Daddy at Mimi and Papi's house in Texarkana! Our boy was able to run his little heart out and play outside to his heart's content. It was a fun-filled weekend full of puppies, mustang rides, lawnmower rides, bubbles, playhouse fun, endless bathtime, dancing, and much more!
Jacob got a little tangled while trying to reinact the Dukes of Hazzard

Thank You Mimi and Papi for taking such good care of me!

Daddy enjoyed some of Mimi's fresh crawfish!...Cajun all the way!

Is this dog friend or foe?

Look out Ladies...Jacob's rollin' in style these days!

Hooray! Nana came over to play!

Big brother looking out for little sister
Chillin' with Haven Rose

Not sure how Haven managed this 1-arm-out-maneuver during naptime!

Meanwhile, Kekoa and Jacob play (and cry) at the park! What's wrong, Kekoa?...ants in your pants?

Peas and Carrots

Jacob has come a LONG way over the past 3 weeks. Giving him more opportunities to "help" with Grammie, Daddy, Momma, and Sister has worked wonders. Keep up the good work, Jacob! We love you and are so proud of you!
